Far from the city lights and free of noisy neighbors, my cabin is perched on top of Young’s Mountain in a very secluded location facing the Blue Ridge Mountain Range. I preferred this location over a lake-front property due to its exclusive privacy and quiet serenity. When I’m sitting on my porch taking in the mountain views or watching billions of stars in the night sky, I feel as close to heaven as ever. The entry leads you into the large great room with cathedral ceilings, leather furniture and a beautiful wood burning stone fireplace. The living area extends into a wonderful sitting space with rocking chairs and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the stunning view of the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room are adjacent to the living room.
Outside, the deck extends the length of the house and wraps around to the reveal spectacular views of the mountains. Rocking chairs and a swing make porch-sitting a favorite past-time. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and french doors that open to the back deck. There's also a television and a large private bath with a tile shower. Two additional bedroom suites are located upstairs, and there is a sitting area in the loft with a sofa sleeper, perfect for quite time and reading. There are a total of four bedroom suites, each with its own private bath. We offer unlimited FREE wireless high-speed internet, and unlimited outbound long distance calls. There is a large family room downstairs with a pool table, stone fireplace, 54 inch High Def Television, extensive DVD movie library, Playstation2, ping pong table, dart board and plenty of board games. If you want to bring your own Wii, it will look awesome on the HDTV! The bedroom suite on this level has two full beds and a private bath with a tile shower. The laundry room is also on the lower level, and the family room futon converts to a double bed. Outside there is a concrete patio with the gas grill. The property is secluded and situated on top of the mountain, approximately 3 miles off the main road and approximately 10 miles from the Beach at Lake Lure. The winding road up to the home is gravel. Four-wheel drive, All-wheel drive, or vehicles with higher ground clearance is recommended, but not required. All renters are requested to carefully inspect the property upon arrival and notify the owner immediately if there is any damage found on the premises or throughout the house. The house will be promptly inspected upon the departure of all guests. - Once you have selected your dates and are ready to reserve them for your vacation, we will email you the short-term rental agreement with initial instructions.
